Top 6 Eco-Friendly Products for a Greener Tomorrow

Updated: Feb 22

It would be remiss of me to not feature a new eco friendly article on my blog. Conservation is something truly important to me, and I wanted to share some products that can help make the world a greener place.

It is important to be aware of climate change caused by human activity. Human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes, contribute to the release of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O), amplifying the greenhouse effect.

Sadly, global temperatures have risen significantly over the past century, with the last few decades being the warmest on record. It's scary! We must start making changes now, or it will be too late.

While most of the damage is from large corporations and greedy billionaires, there are still actions we can take to reduce our carbon footprints. Making swaps on certain products can result in a cleaner earth! The more people use eco friendly alternatives, the less demand there will be for the harmful products.

Here are 6 eco friendly products to start using today! I linked the products in the headers. These are affiliate links, meaning I'll get a small commission when you shop from them. That helps me keep this website going and it doesn't cost anything exta!

Snack baggies are great when you're on the go a lot. It's always a good idea to bring something to munch on. But single use plastic bags are terrible for the environment! Try these instead!

Shampoo and conditioners contribute to climate change because of the plastic bottles they come in. With a shampoo bar, you don't have to worry about that! make the switch to shampoo bars and the environment will thank you!

Tote bags come in handy all the time! They are great for traveling, grocery shopping, going to the gym, and more! They are especially great for reducing the usage of plastic bags when shopping. Here's a cute mermaid bag that I love!

Most of us love a good iced latte, which will usually come with a straw. Sadly, straws are terrible for the environment! At least, the single use plastic straws you see everywhere. Using a reusable straw is a great idea to do your part in helping the earth!

Opting for stainless steel drinking bottles is the preferred choice. These products boast a markedly reduced environmental footprint, promote better health, exhibit superior temperature retention, possess enhanced durability, boast extended lifespans, and prove to be a more cost-efficient option. A reusable bottle can eliminate the usage of plastic water bottles that end up in the landfill.

If you're a mermaid, like me, then you definitely love to get outside! Going to the beach is my favorite summer activity, but sunscreen is actually not safe for our coral reefs! But here is a sunscreen that is eco friendly. No harm on your skin, or on the reefs!

Those are 6 great products to use to lessen your carbon footprint. Thanks for reading this article and taking interest in being more eco friendly!
